In conducting some family history research I found that members of the London based Elisha family (traced back to 1600s) did emigrate to India. I also noticed that John Connon had a very long service master David Elisha at the school 1958 - 1984. I hope you don't mind me wondering if there is a family connection to British Elisha families here in the UK.
